So yesterday I was absent from the techy world because I was enjoying a HOT day here:
If you're not from around here, I have to tell you I grew up here and this place is just as amazing as it was when I was a kid! I'm a roller coaster FREEEEEEEEEEEEEAK and I just can't get enough of it. I'm as sad as the kids are when the park closes! So I know this is not about education what-so-ever, but I'm going to show you a little of what I spent my day doing yesterday...

Congrats to all the winners! My husband has been there a few times and that's all he compares other amusement parks to. I told him that you went there and he went on and on, and on, and on.... about how it's his favorite place! :)

How did you survive the heat? Did you stay for the concert that night? I'm a local, and in my day, I worked at the Point for many summers, and my husband and I met there. Now that we're older, we don't have a desire to go anymore,although I love Cedar Downs! It's more my speed!!
I'm from Michigan originally, and we always made a trip to Cedar Point in the summer! There's no place like it. Yay to all those giveaway winners!

Just seeing all of those roller coasters made me sick to my stomach. I have severe motion sickness. Like can't even drive myself around in my car without getting sick. I would have never made it. Glad you had a great time though :) Maybe someday I can live out my dreams of being able to ride one through my kids :)

I LOVE Cedar Point! I grew up in MI and loved going there each summer. I really do miss it, no other amusement parks compare.

I, too, grew up at Cedar Point! I live about an hour away and had a season pass for the longest time! The racing horses and antique cars are my FAVORITES!!!

These are awesome pics...you could so make this related to education....just think how the kids could use these for descriptive writing, or a fun narrative!:)These pics would be great for a writing station:) Looks like you had a blast!

Ohhh my-seeing all the loops and twists and turns can make a stomach flop. Back in the day loved roller coasters, then enter c.h.i.l.d.r.e.n. Instantly bumps your coaster age by at least 30 years so you can no longer handle it ((sigh)).
