I read the following on DonorsChoose - We Teach facebook page the other day:
'Free books for teachers! Read with Subtext (www.subtext.com/edu) this summer, and the company will buy you any book sold by Google Books (and that’s a big selection!).
Just search for the book you’d like on Google Play (http://play.google.com/store/books) to confirm it’s available. Then email Subtext’s community manager at natalie@subtext.com with your selection, and she’ll get you all set up. Happy reading!'
I figured what the heck!? I tried it and I love it! Natalie is so sweet and sent me the book I've been wanting to read, The End of Molasses Classes by Ron Clark! Can't wait to read it!
Oh and the best part?? You can read together!!! So if anyone else wants to join me on their iPad.... Send me an email so that I can send you an invite :)

That is FANTASTIC!!!! I have been wanting to read The End of Molasses, I've loved the other Ron Clark books. I don't have an iPad (yet) but as soon as I get one in a few weeks I would love to join you.

I have an iPad but I just finished reading that book! A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. It has totally changed the way I view teaching and how I will approach my class next year! That being said, I would love to follow along with you as you read it (because we teachers can never just read a good book once!!!)....
