Glad To Be Back!!

Monday, June 25, 2012
Hello y'all! It's been a while and I've missed you! We are finally headed back from our missions trip and family reunion. I wish I could bring everyone home with us, but unfortunately we can't ;(

Since I am blogging from my phone I'm going to keep it short, but ask you a favor. I was just notified that my current DonorsChoose project is about to expire. I always feel horrible when I get that email. Especially if there are many that have already donated.

Anyway on to how you can help. If you follow this link http://www.oo.com/safkids/detail/projectid/757894 you can vote and Facebook 'like' (worth 10 votes) top projects are funded through this company. I'm hoping to get to the top, fingers crossed. If not I'll probably feel bad enough to finish the donation myself through the old fashioned way...

Other than voting on OO, anyone know of any help or current promo codes for DC ? We only have 23 days left before this expires :( http://www.donorschoose.org/we-teach/479915

As always thanks! And can't wait to read all the comments I missed!

Glad you're back! I hope your project gets fully funded. It's such a bummer when they don't...and I usually just end up finishing it out, too. :(

Happy to see you're back! That's too bad about your project...Hopefully it will all work out! (I may be donating in the future... :))

I have heard of DonorsChoose.org, but never really checked it out until now. I looked at your profile and I am so surprised at how much stuff you've actually been fortunate to get! I like the fact that you utilize a sign language resource in your classroom...how cool is that?!

Kudos to you for utilizing this resource...I think I need to put forth some effort in trying to get active on DonorsChoose.org.

Question: How do people donate? Do you invite people? Or do people just choose a project at random to donate to?

Sorry for the loooonnggg comment...Glad you're back! :)
